The problem for dental access specially to the remote areas of San Pablo City has scourge the city for years. Thus, the need to provide dental mission is necessary to address these shortcomings.
Last October 25, 2022, the Kaisa sa Kalusugan Kaalaman (KKK) by the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) San Pablo City Chapter in partnership with the Rotary Club of San Pablo City and other civic organizations join hands in the turn-over of dental boxes and hygiene Kits to chosen beneficiaries held at SPC Central School.
PDA-San Pablo City headed by Dr. Jamie Lee Ricaforte Together with her team: Dr. Aloha Sarmiento Señido , Dr Maria Elissa San Buenaventura, and Dr. Eulalia Limbo. provided proper dental care lectures during the said event.
The project was also made possible in collaboration with the distinguished leaders of various clubs and organization namely:
- Rotary Club of San Pablo City President Fernando Fabros;
- Rotary Club of Silangan San Pablo President Mano Ortega;
- Rotary Club of San Pablo City-South Pres. Alex Tirao;
- Rotary Club of San Pablo City- Central Pres. Jojo Agoncillo;
- San Pablo Supreme Eagles Club Pres. Jun Lao;
- San Pablo Elite Eagles Club Pres. Rommel Abital;
- San Pablo Unang Ermitanyo Eagles Club Pres. Reggie Nunag; and
- Community Anti-Crime Group Rodel Realisin,
KKK Project aims for the empowerment of community organization to promote health, awareness and medical accessibility of San Pablo City communities. Part of its mission is to provide better accessibility of medical and dental services to the far-reach population of the city amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It is supported by Laguna PHO Dr. Rene Bagamasbad, DepEd-San Pablo Dr. Daisy, Dr. Rommel Clerigo, and Dr. Rico Perez PDA’s Public Health Chair.
