Rotary members and volunteers are one of Rotary International’s structured programs which are designed to help clubs and districts achieve their service goals in their own communities and in communities abroad, fostering fellowship and goodwill in the process.
There are over 46,000 Rotary clubs throughout the world and membership in a Rotary or Rotaract club by tradition is by invitation only. But, we want to make sure you join a club that best fits your passion and perspective. So, we are open to all professional individual regardless of status as long it has the heart for humanitarian service
Rotaract is a program of Rotary International. Rotaract Clubs work under the guidance of their local Rotary Club, and take their name from a combination of the words Rotary and action.
The pillars are 1) Membership, 2) Programs, 3) Projects, and 4) Fund Raising. Build on each of these pillars and you will develop an outstanding Rotary Club.
Rotary International is a humanitarian service organization that brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide community service, promote integrity, and advance goodwill, peace, and understanding in the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization.
Rotarians provide community service to both local and international communities. This is perhaps the best reason for becoming a Rotarian: the chance to do something for somebody else and to sense the self-fulfillment that comes in the process and return of that satisfaction to one’s own life. It is richly rewarding.
There is no minimum age to join Rotary. You may be invited to join at any age after you become established in a career and have the time and financial resources to meet all Rotary club membership requirements.
